Nestled idyllically between Bramhope and Leeds & Bradford Airport, surrounded by fields and set within approximately six acres, sits Greengates Boarding Cattery. With relaxing warm spacious accommodation why not give your beloved pet a holiday too whilst you are away?
To make sure that you are happy with your pets accommodation we encourage you to visit before booking to look around, ask questions and visit other facilities to compare before you make any decision. Then you can go away reassured that your pet will be happy and cared for.
As one of the few ‘cat only’ boarding catteries in the area you can be certain of a quiet, stress free atmosphere for your cat to enjoy.
We have a selection of individually heated pens, which all have access to covered outdoor runs. To keep your cat toasty they are all fitted with electrically heated beds as well as additional radiators and contain activity toys to keep your cat entertained. We have pens large enough to accommodate up to 4 cats depending on your needs.
All pens are thoroughly disinfected between visits using Trygene, a pet friendly product, and are cleaned daily.
Along with toys and scratching posts are a selection of cat tv channels, provided by the many regularly filled bird feeders in view of every pen. Each cat gets to watch little visitors everyday!
First time boookings
If it is your first time at the cattery, payment is required at the time of booking. We request that you visit us before booking to check you are happy with us and the accommodation.
If you have boarded with us before, payment is due upon collection of your cat.
Please note we do not accept unneutered toms due to problems with smell and spraying.
All cats must be vaccinated against flu and enteritis. A valid vaccination certificate must be shown on every occasion your cat comes to stay.
Vaccinations must be administered at least one week prior to your cats visit.
Flea and worming treatments should also be up to date. If a cat is found to have fleas or worms during their stay we will administer the appropriate treatment at an additional cost.
Flea treatment (spot on) £10
Worming tablet £10
Feed and Medication
We provide a wide selection of both wet food and dry which is included in the price however should your pet be on a prescription or special diet, we ask that you bring enough of their food to last the duration of their stay.
We have many years of experience caring for cats of all ages and health needs and will administer any medications required.
We are fully licensed with Leeds City Council and have access to 24 hour vet treatment should your pet require it.
Every attempt will be made to notify you for permission should your pet need treatment however if this is not possible, the welfare of your cat remains our top priority.
